There are 3 main categories of body type and it’s really important to know your type. Working with your body you one way or another are focused on body composition. And your perfect body shape aim also depend on it.

This type is the most difficult to gain muscle mass and weight. Ectomorphs eat little, easily suffer hunger, and usually can not gain enough calories to build muscle. They almost do not need cardio training, but need strength exercises and protein supplements.
Athletically built people, with a strong skeleton and heavy bones. They have broad shoulders, a muscular body. On the fingers are visible joints, the lower jaw is wide and clearly delineated. Hair is more rigid than at endomorphs.
Mesomorphs are very easy to gain muscle mass and fat. It's easy for them and to grow stout, and lose weight. This is the best type of body for sport. By definition, this is the most desirable male type. Almost all models were also mesomorphs until the heroin chic entered fashion. The last twenty years most of the models are ectomorphs.

Soft, round body. Undeveloped musculature. Short legs and arms. Feet and palm of smaller size than the other two types. Wide face and relatively thin hair. In female endomorphs,there are narrow shoulders and back and wide hips, the so-called pear shape.
Endomorphs are very difficult to lose weight and very easy to gain it. They often think about food and do not resist hunger. But, unlike ectomorphs, it is easy for them to gain muscle mass, if they are engaged in some power exercises. But first of all, endomorphs need cardio for burning unnecessary calories.
