How often do you dream about having pizza for dinner? Eating pizza every day and losing extra weight is considered to be a dieter's dream. That was until one good man created the pizza diet.
His name is Matt McClellan and he is a pizza shop owner. He spent hours advertising his pizza shop at his gym and he was tired of it. So he managed to prove that pizza can help people to slim down and improve their health.
Matt consulted a dietitian and began his thirty-days pizza diet documenting his weight loss journey. He lost 24 pounds and improved his health indicators. In this article we will show you his transformation and share the rules of the pizza diet with you.
The rules of pizza diet
Matt only consumed pizza for thirty days. His diet contained 8 slices of pizza per day. He ate his first slice at 9:00 am and he ate his last slice at 9:00 pm. On average his daily calorie intake was 2500 calories.

He prepared a healthy delicious pizza which included products such as low-fat cheese, broccoli, cheese, avocado, onions, olives and pineapples.
Matt did not stop there as he started to train for one hour a day doing both cardio and strength training. He continued drinking unhealthy drinks such as soda, energy drinks and alcoholic beverages to prove that pizza diet can be healthy even without cutting out some unhealthy habits.
This was not his last achievement because he did a bike trip from Florida to New York City to prove that his healthy pizza can be an excellent option even for athletes.
His weight was 203 pounds and now it is 179 pounds.
His blood pressure was 140/90 and now it is 118/80.
His cholesterol level was 243 and now it is 157.
His biceps were 15 inches and now they are 14 inches.
His chest was 42 inches and now it is 43 inches.
His waist was 38 inches and now it is 33 1/2 inches.
His hips were 42 inches and now they are 39 inches.
His body fat was 19 % and now it is 9 %.
His BMI was 26.9 % and now it is 23.6 %.
