Today there are hundreds of people who fight against excess weight and obesity. These problems don’t let them lead a normal life and cause a lot of discomfort. That’s why they all want to get rid of it.
Unfortunately, not everyone who suffers of these issues have enough willpower and motivation to start changing their lives and to quit unhealthy habits. That’s why they keep suffering instead of doing at least anything in order to improve the situation.
Today we have a special story for you. It’s about Katie Hug who managed to lose a half of her weight and to become a personal trainer. Her motivation and willpower were so strong that she changed her life completely in a relatively short period of time.
Katie’s weight was 270 pounds. She had such serious issues as medication dependency, anxiety, depression and harmful eating habits. But one day her doctor said her that her health condition was rather serious and could be dangerous for her life.
That was the point when she decided to change everything. She stopped eating junk food and eliminated everything harmful from her life, including unhealthy relationships. She started performing physical exercises at home.
Now Katie’s diet includes only healthy foods which contain proteins, fiber, healthy fats and other beneficial elements. She counts calories but she doesn’t stress about them. She performs strength workouts three day a week and cardio ones five days a week.
Katie managed to lose 137 pounds. Now she is a personal trainer. She claims that the most important thing which helped her to lose excess weight were support and consistency. She says that one should never quit and only then it’s possible to achieve desirable results.
