The eternal fight with excess weight is something every woman goes through. It is true that there is no easy way out, usually it takes an iron will not to break down while on a diet or working hard at gym but what should you do if that happened and there is an important event in just two weeks or so? Well, we may know a way out!

What we have come up with today is called the Japanese diet. Worry not, in fact it has nothing to do with Japan and rarely involves any Japanese recipes. However, it is pretty strict and you should consult your doctor before starting it. What is more you are not allowed to use it more often that once a year.

For the next two weeks you will have to forget about sugar, bread, alcohol and basically everything that is not included in this diet. On the brighter side, you are going to lose up 15 pounds, sounds worth it to us. What about you?

#1 Monday

You should start your day with coffee or tea, depending on your preference, but if it is coffee – black only! For lunch you are allowed to have 2 boiled eggs with a vegetable salad. Dinner should consist of steamed or boiled fish and a vegetable salad.

#2 Tuesday

Repeat your breakfast, only today one slice of toast is allowed. For lunch you can have the leftovers of your previous supper: steamed or boiled fish with a lettuce salad. Broiled beef steak and some low fat yogurt is what you are going to have for dinner.

#3 Wednesday

Start your day with a cup of black coffee. For lunch you can have boiled carrots with olive oil and lemon dressing and one boiled egg. Only apples for dinner.

#4 Thursday

Black coffee for breakfast. Fry some parsnip root for lunch, if that is not enough you can have some apples. For dinner you can have two boiled eggs and some broiled beef steak together with lettuce salad.

#5 Friday

Fresh carrots with lemon juice is going to be your breakfast. Steamed or broiled fish with unsalted tomatoes is going to be your lunch. For dinner you can have some fish and lettuce salad.

#6 Saturday

Coffee for breakfast. Broiled chicken breast with a lettuce salad is what you can have for lunch. For dinner you can have two boiled eggs and carrots with lemon dressing.

#7 Sunday

Tea for breakfast, either green or black. Beef steak and fruit for lunch. Any dinner you had before, except for the one you had on Wednesday.
