#1. Ice

Make a cold compress by putting some crushed ice in a plastic bag, then wrapping it in a thin cotton towel. Apply this on the painful area for about 15 minutes. Repeat a few times a day!

#2. Massage

Massage is simple way to reduce your pain. You can massage your heels any time of the day. You can also use any kind of oil such as olive, coconut, sesame, mustard for massage. Massage really provides quick relief from pain.

#3. Cayenne Pepper

You need 1 tbsp of cayenne pepper and a cup of warm olive oil, mix it and apply on the painful area and allow it to sit for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water. You should repeat 2 or 3 times daily until the pain is gone.

#4. Alkaline Diet

Well-balanced alkaline diet helps you to reduce inflammation and calcium buildup. You should include more fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet, use pink salt, drink 3 or 4 cups of green tea, avoid excess intake of calcium-rich foods, limit intake of animal-based foods, sugar, processed foods, alcohol and refined grains.

#5. Fish Oil

Fish oil is a good treatment for treating heel pain. Take up to 3 grams of fish oil containing at least 30 percent EPA/DHA twice daily. But don’t forget to consult with doctor first!
